SV Dances Under a Black Light
By McKenzie Welsh
The day everyone looked forward to has come and gone. On Friday, March 7th, the Black Light Dance took place. At the dance there was good food, fun games, and awesome music.
The dance had Jack in the Box for food, and a variety of sodas to drink. Outside there were multiple games and a station where you could draw on yourself with highlighter. Inside, the music was blasting and people were dancing. The people in neon and white stood out especially. The students who decided to draw on themselves with highlighters had glowing skin. There were dance circles, meaning a large group of students surrounded two other students who were dancing.
The decorations at the dance were very colorful and neon. There were black lights stationed all around the room. To make the decorations for the black light dance, ASB called upon students to help make the decorations. Stephanie Anderson said, “The dance was a lot of fun, I had a great time dancing and hanging out with my friends. I drew on a couple of my friends with highlighter.”
